Loz & Poz’s Vineyard Wedding

 13th Jul 2017

Wow, wow, WOW, these guys…

I’m not even sure where to start with Loz & Poz’s B-E-A-UTIFUL vineyard wedding last month.

It took place at the gorgeous Court Gardens Vineyard in Ditchling. A stunning venue nestled in the south downs and the perfect setting for a relaxed outdoor wedding.

From the cute and unique wedding favours (all books by the Penguin publishing company, carefully collected during Laura & Paul’s wedding planning, and a nod to their New Zealand engagement), to the personal and heart-warming ceremony over-looking the vineyard. From the heartfelt speeches, (that made me cry! Thanks guys!) to the fabulous reception, I could just talk and talk about how perfect this day was. As a photographer you are always observing and my, MY, was there a lot to see! Laura & Paul did not stop laughing all day, I think it’s very clear from their photographs how they feel about each other. You could feel the love from each and every person who has the pleasure of knowing these guys and sharing such a wonderful day with them. We were absolutely spoilt with sublime places to shoot, and Laura & Paul completely embraced my ideas. A truly splendid couple to work with.

It was a true pleasure to be part of Laura & Paul’s special day. Here’s a little snippet of what I saw…

Mark & Jade’s Woodland Wedding

 23rd Jun 2017
The Paper Mill, Hawkhurst

Mark & Jade’s small and intimate wedding took me back to my favourite venue… The glorious Paper Mill in Hawkhurst, not least because…. I got married there last year! So, for me, it was a dream to be back there.

Mark and Jade had decided to have a teeny tiny wedding, with just family attending. Oh, and of course, showcasing a rather glamourous floral collar handmade by Jade, their beloved dog Bailey. So, they booked me for a few hours to capture their gorgeous ceremony before they all went off for a meal.

The day of the wedding was super hot! The woods were cast in stunning dappled sunlight and Mark and Jade had decided that rather than Mark be waiting ‘at the alter’ so to speak, they would meet in the stunning period house and then walk through the woods and down into the glade for their ceremony together.

So, we got a few shots of them at the house and then ambled along past the barn and into the woods. Jade looked utterly stunning and clearly the hay that had been lain down to mark their path through the woods thought so too as it felt the need to attach itself to her beautiful train! Ahh the joys of a woodland wedding!

Their ceremony was just gorgeous, and everything looked so stunning as they said their vows under the wooden gazebo built in a clearing in the woods. After the ceremony, we wandered back up to the barn where Mark, Jade and their families enjoyed some bubbles and canapes before I stole them away so we could get some shots just of the two of them. (Although Bailey couldn’t resist jumping into a few of the shots – she didn’t like o be away from them!) The Paper Mill is an incredibly beautiful place to get married, and the photographic opportunities are vast. I love woodland weddings so I was in my element.

After the shots of the two of them we went back up to the barn for their group shots and then they went on to the Queens Hotel for a fabulous wedding breakfast…but not before feeding the resident donkeys a couple of carrots!

Here are a few of my favourite shots from their special day.
